Founded by former NHL player Mike Weaver and NHL goalie coach Robb Tallas, CoachThem was created by coaches who understood the everyday challenges of planning effective practices.

What started as a simple idea to make drill creation faster and easier has grown into a complete sports coaching platform designed to help coaches organize practices, collaborate with staff, and manage their coaching resources all in one place.

At CoachThem, we believe coaching tools should make life easier, not more complicated. Broadening our mission to support coaches with more than just drills, we purchased a new domain, created our logo and rebranded as CoachThem.

We’re perfect for sharing. To support this feature, we created an Association subscription and on-boarded our first group subscription.

AWARD SEASON

CoachThem was nominated for the Notable Awards, app of the year.

NEW SPORT

Welcoming more than just hockey coaches, we opened our arms and created tools specific for the great sport of lacrosse.

NEW PARTNER

Aligning ourselves with the best in hockey, we partnered with the NHL Coaches’ Association to create a digital drill book, full of 120+ drills from NHL teams.

SIX FIGURE DRILLS

CoachThem users created a total of 100,000 drills on our web-app.

STATE OF HOCKEY

We launched a partnership with Minnesota Hockey, where we collaborated with the state’s top coaches through a new #DrilloftheWeek series.

CoachThem proudly created a partnership with the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, supporting their 13k coaches.
